“How much does a boudoir photoshoot cost?” is one of the first questions clients ask, and the honest answer is: it depends on how the photographer structures pricing. In Miami and the rest of South Florida you will find everything from short mini sessions to full-day luxury experiences. Understanding the structure matters more than the headline number.
The two common pricing models
1. Session fee plus image sales
You pay a lower fee to book the session. After the shoot you attend a viewing appointment and purchase images, albums or wall art individually. The final total is often much higher than the session fee, and it is decided at an emotional moment.
2. All-inclusive packages
You choose a package up front that already includes a set number of retouched images, the gallery and sometimes hair and makeup. You know the total before you book. This is how I work, because I would rather you spend the session enjoying yourself than worrying about a sales appointment.
What should be included
- Session time: one hour suits a focused session with one or two looks; two or three hours allow several outfits and locations within the space.
- Retouched images: ask exactly how many, and whether retouching is natural (skin kept real) or heavy.
- Private gallery: password-protected online delivery.
- Hair and makeup: often an add-on; in luxury packages it is sometimes included.
- Styling help: a guide or a planning call so you arrive confident.
Costs people forget to ask about
- Travel or location fees for sessions at home or in a hotel.
- The hotel suite or Airbnb itself, if you choose one.
- Extra images beyond the package.
- Albums and prints.
- Rescheduling policies.
My Miami boudoir packages
For full transparency, these are my current all-inclusive packages, with no photo sales after the session:
- Mini — $450: 1 hour, 1–2 outfits, 15 retouched images, private gallery.
- Signature — $850: 2 hours, 3 outfits, 35 retouched images, private gallery. The most requested.
- Luxury — $1,400: 3 hours, 4+ outfits, hair and makeup included, 60 retouched images.
Extras: additional retouched image $25, heirloom album from $350. A 50% deposit reserves your date and the balance is due on the day of the session. Sessions take place on location in Miami, Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach. Full details are on the boudoir packages page.
How to choose the right package
If this is your first boudoir experience or a gift with a clear idea, a shorter session is often perfect. If you want variety — lingerie, an oversized shirt, something elegant — more time lets you relax between looks. If you want to be fully pampered, choose a package with hair and makeup so you arrive camera-ready without planning anything.
Frequently asked questions
Is a boudoir photoshoot worth the cost?
Most clients describe it as a confidence experience as much as a photoshoot. What makes it worth it is feeling guided, safe and proud of the images, so choose based on process and privacy, not just price.
Do I need to pay everything up front?
With my packages, a 50% deposit reserves the date and the balance is due on session day.
Can I add more images later?
Yes. Additional retouched images are $25 each.
