Start with how you want to feel
Soft and romantic? Bold and editorial? Playful? Pick a feeling first, then choose outfits that support it. It keeps the gallery cohesive instead of random.
Outfit ideas that always work
- A matching lingerie set in a color you love. Simple shapes read beautifully on camera.
- A bodysuit. It flatters most bodies and works for both seated and standing poses.
- An oversized white shirt or a partner’s shirt. Relaxed, sensual and very forgiving.
- A robe or silk slip. Perfect for movement and a softer, morning-light feel.
- A sports jersey or blazer. A playful or editorial twist, especially as a gift.
- A sheet. Minimal, timeless and more modest than people expect.
How many outfits should you bring?
Plan roughly one look per 30–40 minutes of session time, plus one backup. For a one-hour session, bring two or three options; for two or three hours, four to six. It is always easier to have a choice on the day.
Colors and fabrics
- Black is classic and slimming, beautiful in moody light.
- Ivory, white and nude tones feel soft and bright.
- Deep jewel tones — burgundy, emerald, navy — add richness.
- Lace, satin and sheer layers catch light and add texture.
- Avoid tiny busy patterns and logos, which distract from you.
Fit matters more than the brand
Choose pieces that fit comfortably without digging in. If something pinches, it will show in how you move. Try everything on at home a few days before and sit, lie down and stretch in it.
Details people forget
- Remove tight socks and bras a couple of hours before, to avoid marks.
- Bring heels even if you plan to be barefoot; they change posture beautifully.
- Simple jewelry — a ring, a necklace, earrings you wear every day — adds a personal touch.
- Keep nails neat and in a neutral or classic color.
